Cheers.

I am using this setup at the moment:

Macbook Pro (2021) playing music from Tidal via the headphone jack to a pair of Genelec 8030C studio monitors.

I am thinking about buying a Bluesound NODE N130 and connect my monitors directly to the N130.

Will I get a better sound quality? Anyone here with a qualified opinion?

Thanks in advance.

According to measurements I've seen bluesound performs worse. If you don't intend to use its features it would a waste of money even if it performed better. If you're in Europe and and just want airplay2 I'd suggest you have a look at the Argon Audio solo. If you don't need to be cable free better to stick to the headphone jack.

NODE N130:
Bluesound Node Measurements DAC Wireless Multi-Room Hi-Res Music Streamer.png

Unweighted Dynamic Range is 109dB on the Node and 125dB on the MacBook.
So no, you won't get better sound from the Node.
