Doin' a 1973 retrospective in the Jazz Music thread. Here's a recent post:

Hermeto Pascoal is a Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He’s been active since 1964, played in seminal bands of the ‘60s, and has led his own groups since the ‘70s. A Musica Livre De Hermeto Pascoal (‘The Free Music of…’?) was his ~6th of ~28 albums, and info is sparse. It has Latin sounds & flute, some freer jazz, then an orchestra shows up and does both for a bit. Interestingly adventurous.
