I wonder what the max SPL of those Kube MIE subs is going to be.

Even my ~300€ 8" Canton sub has 200W RMS of power.
There is no way a 300W amp can drive a 15" driver to it's max potential, is there?

Only if the driver has not much potential.

I have the KF92. I'd like to see a subwoofer with the same design language but with larger (10/12") drivers and XLR input. I guess the next step up from KEF is the Reference 8b, but I'd still like to see larger drivers.

Isn’t the Arendal 1723 2S exactly that (but with 13.8“ driver)?

They will be marginally better than the non MIE series. Anyway, the old Kube10b was measured and it actually did pretty well compared to the competition. Because of its larger size it does not need a very powerful amplifier. The Kube series are subs where value for money is achieved at the expense of size. If size matters, there are the more expesnive dual opposed models. As for prices, these vary quite a bit by regions. The Kubes are a very good deal here in the Netherlands.

Have any reviews (measurments) came out for the new MIE lineup?
I'm adding a 2nd sub and debating getting the KC92 to pair with my KF92. Or maybe just find a discounted KF92...

Why not an SVS SB1000 or Arendal 1s? Both have way better output and extension than those pricey micro subs

SoCal, Baby!
The 92 should be the one in the middle of something larger.
KEF cites a frequency response down to 11 Hz (!) and maximum SPL of 110 dB, which seems to equal the capabilities of much larger subwoofers.

I admit to being intrigued by this thing.

Erin measured the KF92 and KC62. Here is a screenshot of the KF92 CEA-2010A

The SVS SB1000 Pro for example is a lot less expensive (about 1/3 - 1/4 the price depending where you live) and performs even better while also having full PEQ and delays via the app.

I have the KC62. Does it reach 11hz? Sure! At 110db? Not even on crack! :D

My listening position is less than a meter away from the subwoofer and the room is quite small. It´s a very competent subwoofer for what it is, but do not ask for miracles.

Good thing I will never be interested in subs with my like 20 apartment neighbors in a 10 meter radius. :p
