The only difference I could see is that the KC92 has a trigger input (and associated mode switch), the KF92 doesn't. There's also a mysterious firmware update port...

Different customer. Small, "life style" subs are what they are. And many customers like to have the same brand for all their speakers for whatever their reasons are.

Seems like some of the elements of the 62 have been taken to the new 92. Until we have measurements, we will not know how meaningful have been those changes.

It seems like the DSP has been updated on all the series, but I still miss a dual opposed larger subwoofer (10 or 12 inches).

This is the real deal subwoofer, P-Flex is very important. KC62 perform very well for a 6.5'' woofer, now it's dual 9''.

This is the real deal subwoofer, P-Flex is very important. KC62 perform very well for a 6.5'' woofer, now it's dual 9''.

Specs has not changed between kf and kc92 so we must wait for proper measurement by a third party .

Would predict lower distortion and possibly more capable at lower frequencies.

Say more about how bad specs from manufacturers are even good ones ?

Wrong... A SVS SB 1000 Pro is sized only slightly larger than the Kube 8 MIE but has better specs than the 12 MIE.
