Which would best compliment my 2.0 system?
I’m running a pair of Kali LP6V2s, and I’m looking to get a bit more low-end and generally just fuller, more powerful, punchy bass. This sub will be primarily used for music, with occasional movie use.
I know the Kali WS 6.2 measures well, but all research has led me to believe the Speedwoofer is a superior sub. I hesitate because it’s not as plug-and-play as the WS 6.2, and it may not sound as punchy or tight. I’m worried the Speedwoofer might be too boomy. Without calibration and proper positioning, it could make my system sound worse. I'm also worried the Kali won't have enough presence because of the smaller woofers. I realize this is somewhat compensated for with 2 woofers and more power, but there is no replacement for displacement.
I also realize the Kali has a high pass filter, whereas the RSL does not. How much will this effect the listening experience?
My room dimensions are 11” x 13”.
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks.
