JBL Studio 280?

Has anyone of the nice ASR folk ever heard the JBL Studio 280 floorstanders in person? There is an amazing deal in my area for a hardly used, like new pair for $100. I don't really have use for them currently, but it seems like such a steal that I'm inclined to get them anyway. I'm having a hard time finding any (credible) reviews and/or measurements.

Here is the product page. Seems like they used to sell for $700 a pair. Please someone tell me they're amazing, or they're awful so I don't have to buy them

I hope you DID buy them and I hope you can tell us about them

I replaced a pair of Arena 170 floorstander 2 ways with Studio 580s. Fantastic for my living room. I would need to upgrade the room before the speakers again.
