The Silver 100s g6 have a very simple and classic appearance, even with the grills off. I like the sound of the metal drivers after a 4 year break-in period. Yeah, there are better speakers for more money. But even bigger and better will be a trade off, a compromise.

That was an exaggeration that meant that I owned them for 4 years and to my ears they seem to keep getting better. I think metal drivers have an unfounded reputation of being too bright. Some think they can hear ringing. That has not been my experience.
