I have JBL 305P MKII. But It's too big for me.
I am not a professional, I am just a music lover, so I have not calibrated my speakers. My room is only about 10m².
I know it's a downgrade, but it still looks like it's suitable for my use case.
How significant is the difference in audio quality between these two speakers without calibration? I am considering whether or not I should replace my speakers.

My English is not very good. I apologize for using Google Translate.

Hi @xhibbzzh! Welcome to ASR.

Because we don't have proper measurements of the Yamaha HS4, it is difficult to tell how it would compare to the 305p.
It's a shot in the dark, basically.

Here are some good, compact speakers that we have measurements of:
-iLoud Micro:

-Vanatoo Transparent Zero Plus:

-Genelec 8010A:

I'm also very curious how the new Kanto ORA will perform.

If you have enough money consider Neumann KH80. Wouldn't go with HS anything else then 8 but you already said even small JBL's are too big for you.
Please start using EQ (PEQ) and you can do it for free on PC with REW + EQ-APO you only need a half decent measurement microphone to do it (along with some effort and a bit of learning).
