Which research? To me, neutral is interchangeable with preferred. Flat in room isn’t neutral if that’s what you mean.

It is just facts my man. People want colored sound. The only way to call this neutral would be to define a perfect speaker in a room as neutral....which is illogical since the room distorts the sound. But this has been discussed before. just ignore that part and focus on the main content of my post I suggest. (this message is supposed to be read in a calm voice)
