Hello, fellow audio enthusiasts!

I am new to the audio world, trying to get my first stereo system. Strictly for music. I don't want to shell out multiple grands on the audio equipment right of the bat, I believe one can get a good system to enjoy for many years on budget. I am open to buying open box or used as long as they provide a good sonic performance for the price. I've narrowed it down to two options:

Yamaha As-801 + CA AXN10 + some focal speaker
eversolo A6 + rotel rb-1050 + some focal speaker

I would mostly listen to digital streaming platforms. Do you think these combinations works well? and open to new suggestions. budget 1000-1500 USD for the amp and the streamer. + 500 USD for speakers may be.

Spend 500 USD less on the amp/ dac and put that money into the speakers. :)

Get a used Yamaha A-S500 for example or something similar .

I have never auditioned any of the speakers, all my experiences are with the earbuds + online sound samples. I really like little bit of bright sound + forward mid range, most focal speakers felt pleasing to my ears. I'll take you advise.

smsl dl200 + used yamaha as (without dac) ? thoughts?

I recently read about ascend acoustics sierra 1 v2, costs $1000 and had got good measurements. Do you recommend?

I got the system based on the recommendation and really happy with the sound quality.

Yamaha AS-701 (new, discounted <$500) + Sierra Acoustics 2 EX V2 + Volumio Primo with LPS.

Using Tidal for streaming music, should try other services.

I tried blue sound nano and node before settling on Volumio. Nano is the best value for the money but Volumio is on another level.
