What do you want to achieve?
RLS looks good for the money but only up to let's say 110 Hz crossover point. Has good decay time for ported (double chamber compression pressure deployed with port's) and goes lo in LFE mode, linearity fals (compression) when pushed hard but it's overall good for mid range 10“-er. Anyway make sure you have a good and capable DSP on your disposal if you want to achieve good integration.

In 2.1 or surround? How big is the room, how far is the listening position and how loud you want it to be able to go? I do 2.2 but with PC, AVR's with more than one output chenel for bass are rare. There are standalone DSP's like MiniDSP lines only thing lacking there is equal loudness compensation. Proper integration for sub's is crucial.
