I was testing the BST-300ex with the Fosi V3. They are 4ohms and I decided to just do one per channel.
Playing one alone is all good and powerful but the moment I tried both at the same time, the amps starts to cut out the sound.
Using the Fosi 48V 5A did not help.
So looks like for shakers I am better off going with Mono mode of the 07 max or waiting for the V3 Mono.
I am surprised this didnt come up during testing but maybe the Shakers load is more demanding?

I would never have considered an amp like that for sub or tactile transducer duties myself, but curious how you went about setup otoh.

Try the Smsl a300 400w mono 4 ohms 1% thd i think

It works great with the mono 07 max (that Amazon just delivered). It delivers a lot of power and I can easily recommend that setup as it rattles my skull lol.
I had received a 07 max before but was not good so I just got the replacement and so far looks good.
The 07 max also has the same issue in stereo mode as the Fosi though.
So basically I imagine the za3 in mono and v3 mono will work great too.

Interesting, how would these work with a Bluetooth interface? I’d like to try one or two under the sofa, but wiring looks like a mess. The room already has 4 rear drivers wired for the 7.2 atmos setup

Honestly not sure. I am old fashion for all these stuff so I prefer wired, sorry

Strange, there's someone in a thread also saying how a Crown XLS is having difficulty with a similar device... wondering if there's a problem with these some of these shakers/exciters.

Ah, I see it was you. Seems like there may be an issue with these things, have you checked impedance etc with a multimeter? Or maybe try each one separately to see if one of these is defective and causing a problem.

Thats my other thread. I was able to get the Crown to work better by bridging and presenting an 8ohm load. The crown did manage to handle much more demending settings than the Fosi in stereo mode but as I got greedy and started to make my low frequency settings more demanding, that is when I reached the limit of the crown in stereo mode. lol
But bridge, which technically is giving me the same power, actually gives so much that I can bottom the shakers so is all good now :)

Cool, good to see you got it fixed. Those things must really be a tough drive.
