Note these are cheap headphones, just buy one and drop-ship it to Amir.
If only for the build quality and looks they are worth it.

What does treble quality mean here objectively speaking? Less compliance to a target, or a lack of smoothness in the FR?

I'm considering grabbing a pair of these once available in the UK. Will use with a Qudelix so EQing is no issue.

Treble can be of correct 'average' level but have a different output level at various frequencies (jagged FR above 8kHz) which lowers the 'quality'.
The treble is not 'peaky'/'sharp' sounding nor 'dull'.

Alas industry standard measurements using artificial pinnae cannot correctly show this response as your ear/canal coupling is not the same so these measurements say little about treble quality nor the correct level above 8kHz.
5128 is better here though.
So judging treble quality (coarseness/air/smoothness/gritty) is almost impossible to show in industry standard distortion/FR/time plots.

The treble quality of the FT1 is decent at best but at the correct level so not 'dull nor 'sharp'. Just not 'silky smooth' with the correct 'tone' of cymbals etc. but also not coarse/gritty in a distracting way.

It is a quite sensitive, comfortable and good looking headphone with nice build quality so perfectly suited for portable usage that does not need (much if any) EQ, maybe aside from the lows. Treble quality, while decent leaves something to be desired.

Azurys. They are comfy, have one of the best frquency response curves out of the box and they are beautiful/luxurious. If you want to impress your wife, they are the best choice.

Thanks, reluctant to pick anything not reviewed here but will have a look. Essentially everything I have has been tested with high marks here and has been proven to be super valuable!
