Hey folks,
I’m Jeff from Altitude, and I’m recruiting beta users for ARIA Studio, our music-first hearing correction and sound personalization software for macOS and Windows, paired with our full spectrum hearing test for iOS and Android.
These tools have come a long way since I last posted here, but I need your feedback to take them across the finish line.
What’s in it for you?
I’m offering 30 free beta licenses to the first 30 forum donors who message me. Test the software, share your thoughts, and if you’re into it, I’ll hook you up with a free copy of the full release when it’s ready.
Why ARIA Studio?
ARIA Studio lets you apply hearing correction or sound personalization (pending your take on the problem) to music on any gear connected to your computer—from headphones to hi-fi stereo systems. No proprietary hardware needed.
The Result: It’s like the singer steps out of your speakers and performs just for you. Clarity, depth, and immersion like you’ve not heard for decades. And you will listen at lower volumes, helping your hearing.
How it works:
1. Take a full spectrum hearing test: Measure the transfer function (TF) of each ear with our high-resolution test (125Hz–20kHz).
2. Input TF & Optimize Filters: Load your TF to create personalized full spectrum filters—essentially custom, high-precision FIR EQs.
3. Mastering-Grade Dynamics: Advanced tools manage transients and magnitude changes.
4. Music-First DSP: Process sound using lossless, pro-level algorithms typically found only in mastering tools.

Approved Hearing Test Devices
The hearing test is designed to work best with calibrated devices. I’ve placed the current list at the end. While I can calibrate other devices, don’t assume your device will automatically make the cut.
If your device isn’t on the list but you’re set on using it, reach out, and I’ll let you know if it’s a candidate for calibration.
What I need from you:
Honest feedback on the sound, features, and future direction of the project.
What works? What doesn’t? What’s missing? Your input will directly shape the final product.
How to join:
1. Be a forum donor (support this awesome community).
2. Be one of the first 30 members to message me with:
I hope you join and enjoy what you hear.
