I'm surprised no one's shouted out Aes Dana's Ultimae Records yet. It's been the vanguard of psychedelic ambient for a long time, former home of Solar Fields and Carbon Based Lifeforms, still putting out great stuff now. Their Fahrenheit Project compilations are a good starting point. Most of their catalogue is readily available on Bandcamp. Master Margherita - Border 50 is a solid recent release from them in a more pure ambient style.

Another great psybient label was Celestial Dragon Records. Only twenty releases, all quality, lots of dub influences. My favorites on it are Scann-Tec - Facial Memories (re-released on Bandcamp) and Androcell - Efflorescence.

And this thread wouldn't be complete without The KLF - Chill Out. Graham Lee's pedal steel on this and The White Room is pure magic.
