It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Yeah-yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask 'em, "How much should we give?"
Hoo, they only answer, "More, more, more, more"

 This needs to be oblique, and this is a long shot...but last night I switched to the news channel and saw old snake eyes doing his speech. That moved him to the top of my wishlist, above his old colleague Chuck.
I'd forgotten it by this morning, of course, but looking at some old Johnny Cash songs reminded me.

...ohh indeed - age restricted. Maybe because it shows something of what war is like - unlike hollywood movies.

Weird - I guess I'm getting my 80's anger out today. Not all anti war songs *have* to have anti-war lyrics, although that helps.

Moving beyond the flower-power stage ...

Two from Killing Joke: Love Like Blood and Living in the Eighties

This gets me really mad, although I danced to it waay back when...
