Hi everyone,
I’m trying to decide between two amplifiers for my setup: the Aiyima A3001 and the Aiyima D08. Both use the TPA3255 chip, but the specifications list different output powers: 300W for the A3001 and 600W for the D08.
Price-wise, there’s a difference since the A3001 includes a power supply, while the D08 doesn’t. If their actual output performance is similar, the A3001 would save me some money. However, I’m willing to pay more if the D08 offers significantly higher performance.
I plan to use the amplifier to power a Dayton Audio BST-300EX bass shaker, focusing on frequencies from 40Hz and below. Could someone clarify whether the D08’s higher wattage rating makes a real difference in this use case? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
