Motivated by this rich sidebar discussion of feline rheology and reflecting on the image above just a bit more...
Confronted with the scenario shown above, I would probably reach the following very rational conclusion.
You know... maybe I don't really need this box right at the moment.
 
Betting a significant number of ASR members were AV assistants at their primary schools. Maybe even Amir.

I've bragged before about my (early) days in grad school, when the department coordinator used to come in the lab in the middle of the day sometimes and ask me, very sheepishly, if I could go down to our big (and very nice) lecture hall in the basement and thread the 16 mm sound film projector for some poor schmuck who had a movie to show but no idea of how to thread a Film-O-Sound. :)

Years later, in my biotech days, the best boss I ever had, by far, was a mass spectrometrist by training -- but was also a shark nerd. :) He and I - literally - both used to jump up and run to help if there were various flavors of A/V problems during a seminar (in our big lecture hall -- which was also quite nice, actually).
