In Europe we had the British, East-Germans and Soviets fighting for the title. I would like to set these on top, not in specific order

The ones I owned that were garbage: MG Midget and Fiat Spyder. Both were, however, the most fun cars I've owned. I had a Ford Grenada rental car for a week or two--it was worse than either the MG or Fiat, because it wasn't fun to drive. There was nothing redeeming about the Grenada. Even the paint scheme, as I recall, was two-tone red and white. Embarrassing to even contemplate.

In the sixties-seventies, in France they were very proud of the TugBoat-style car, the Citroën Ami 6 ...

The Citroën Ami 6 was even uglier than the Ford Anglia ...

Is that a Pinto?

If a car stops working completely, you'll never get in an accident with it. It's a safe car.

If a car works consistently poorly and explodes during rear collisions, then it might be the worst thing you'll ever own.

I just love the name of the brand - Reliant! I should have added it to my list, damn.

Italians love Piaggio Apes, you can still see them everywhere around, also as taxis. A luxury version here!

Early-'70s VW Type 4 (though, the potent-for-then-VW engine would be reconfigured to be used in the later VW/Porsche 914)

You've got something against wagons it looks like. :)

How dare you put on this list the closest precursor to the awesome silhouette of the Tesla Cybertruck. The Pontiac Aztek.

I bet you'd include this wagon on your list had you thought of it. I give you the Vega Station Wagon estate.

Or maybe you'd prefer the Vega station wagon GT iteration.
