1 DAC , 2 AMP ... How to connect them together !?

hi , i currently using a e30 dac into my l30 amp .. but id like to get another amp in the future and use the same dac ?

any way to connect the dac to the 2 amp ? dsnt need to play at same time .. well would be a plus .

Connect the second amp to the L30 outputs and use the L30 in PRE mode.

Or, split the output of your E30 using a pair of "Y" cables:

The first option will not allow both amps to function simultaneously; the second will.

Arm waving general case answer:

Not by half as you might be thinking.

The two amps will see the same input signal voltage.

The two amps will draw current from the source according to their input impedance and the voltage of the signal.

So, there will be a slight increase in current demanded from the source.

That will cause a slight decrease in the voltage output of the source - probably like 1/1000th volt

Current might change maybe a milliamp or part of one, from the perspective of the source.

Someone recently mentioned a possible problem if only one amp is powered up, due to the diode action of an input transistor in the amplifier (depending on design).

L30 input impedance is 2k ohm.
Depends on the E30 what's the min it can drive.
