In years past there were a half dozen audiophile cafes and bars in Saigon but I don't think many have survived Covid. It also had my favorite jazz and classical CD shop on the planet but if course it's long gone.
Saigon?
I remember there was a « Hi-End café » with huge tube amps and huge Western Electric horn speakers still in 2018 or so.
Need to find that pictures to post them here.

Think that is someone with a speaker problem who needs a more sociably acceptable problem, such as drinking.

I also run in this one in London Coal Market called Spiritland with a custom made Living Voice set up.

They have a DJ on staff to keep the music playing, no? I wonder how they reach those LPs in that highest rack.

Used to have guest DJs come in before Covid. Now the bartenders pick an LP (from around 3,000, part of the owner's personal collection). Come in at a quiet time and get to know the bartenders... you might just be able to request specific LPs ;)

One may require a rolling ladder setup like large formal style libraries use. :D

Close, they use a stepladder to get to the taller LPs.

Another view of the bar at night. Clay pots/amphoras are used to age some Japanese liquors and oak barrels on the shelves for aging cocktails. Owner puts some of his Scotch collection there too. Was lucky to sip on an excellent Ballechin there before its price went through the roof in the resale market.

Ignore the album on the left, Anri's Timely was being played. Before that was something from Kool & the Gang.

Then back home to enjoy new DCA Aeon 2s.
