I read originally they were pricing closer to $500, but with the 789 drop to $299, hopefully they come in more competitively

As a consumer I hope they do price it respective to other products in the market. As a hardware product manager I know how frustrating it is to have my business plan all locked in then have an unforeseen 25% downward pricing shift pop up right before go to market.

If they aim to competitive with THX. It should be $399 or not more than $449.

Now Drop THX downs to $299 (I believe they want to clear the stock). So, let's hope it will be a little bit cheaper.

You are hopefully in the right track. But remember A90 has far lower noise and has preamp output as well as 4.4mm balanced output. The power supply is internal instead of external. Don't worry it should be in the range. There are also A50s L30 for different prices and configurations.

L30 has selective preamp and headphones out. Extremely low noise and distortion. 0.00002% THD+N. -9 0 9 dB gain settings. 2W+ clean power for 16 and 32ohm. And it will look absolutely gorgeous. Preproductions will goes to reviewers this month.

Ah ok, right I'm really looking forward to A90! BTW, compared to THX amps, using single ended input and 4-pin XLR output, or balanced input and SE output, is the SE>Balanced and Balanced>SE conversion at least on same level as the THX?
