Ok, I've been here a few years and I've always wondered (with the exception of Amir), what speakers do you own (mains)? I've seen some of them in your signatures, but I'm just curious as to what everyone listens to at home. I'll start even though they're in my signature.
Legacy Audio Whispers, I also own Infinity Preludes as well.
Family room: Heavily modified Elac Uni-Fi Reference UBR62 bookshelfs on stands (additional bracing, glue and damping material, ports plugged, and converted to be all active with passive crossovers removed), and Velodyne HGS18 subwoofer
Office: KEF LS60 Wireless
Game room: Klipche 5.1 system (don't know the model, came with the house, speakers mounted to ceiling)
My main "sitting in my easy chair and listening" alternates between the Quads and the NHTs- they're different and each has its own merits. For loud rock, the NHTs are king. For quieter acoustic music, it's close, but the Quads have a larger listening "sweet spot."
