Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM + Extender EF 1.4X III with EOS-5D Mark II: at max. FL 280 mm, ISO 200, F5.6, SS 1/200, intact resolution/size 5616x3744 raw 22.2 MB jpeg 9.1MB. Raw to jpeg by Canon Digital Photo Professional 4 (DPP4). Edit: The tulips are/were real live ones with sunlight on them from the 45-degree side-upper. This photo was taken at Showa Memorial Park in Tokyo on the same day for the photos of No. 3, 4, and 5 in my post #46. The tulips were shining by the "transmitted" sunlight. I like photos of flowers and colored leaves with "transmitted" sunlight. (Please also refer to my post #136.) You would also please note that the nature/characteristic of "bokeh" in green portion is so nice and beautiful thanks to the lenses Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM + Extender EF 1.4X III.

I love my Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. They're a very flexible combination and I primarily use them for cinematography, along with the Yongnuo 60mm f/2 macro.

To generalize a bit, I agree that Fuji does well on WB, certainly outdoors. It's a bit spotty indoors, especially for close-ups. E.g. I was taking some close-ups of a small piece of equipment to sell on eBay. The background I had handy was beige in color; the results had that background in a virtual rainbow of colors from off-white, to yellow, to grey. This is were calibrating WB would have been a good idea. (I used my TTartisan 40mm Macro lens on my X-T10 camera.)

I recall this being a chilly, wet, and dismal late afternoon, and I likely shot the lens wide-open in order to make the most of the fading light. Magenta hue is probably the auto white balance of my scanning software gone awry, but I sort of liked it, so I left it as-is. Dunno what the bright spots are.

I was probably shooting the FL58/1.2 wide-open, or close to it, hence the shallow depth of field and light falloff in the corners of the frame.

For the 7.5/3.5 Tessar, f/9 or thereabouts would be typical for me.

Photos were taken on different days, so lighting is somewhat different.

Colorado isn't prone to typhoons, but similar to @dualazmak's post #125, we do get occasional orange/magenta/purple skies, sometimes following monsoon storms. Lightroom Saturation and Vibrance sliders at -0-, but camera white balance set to Daylight, which yielded a close match to what my eyes saw. Sony Zeiss 35/2.8 SEL35F28Z, Sony A7.

At the time of introduction (1978), I was working in LongIsland and commuting from Jersey side (90miles R/T).
I had already purchased my first CanonA1 for candid commute shots, few months earlier.
When I found that this Pentax 'auto110' was the size of my hand; I had to have one.
It was a very handy (even w/110 format lo-quality) and made for some very impromptu shots of car crashes on the LIE... to some hairy predicaments in the seedy zones of metro NYC.
I thought it was such a 'cat's meow' that I bought every attachment available for it and then stepped up to the "Super" version some years later.:)

In my photo in post #123, the tulips are/were real live ones with sunlight on them from the 45-degree side-upper. The tulip photo was taken at Showa Memorial Park in Tokyo on the same day for the photos of No. 3, 4, and 5 in my post #46. The tulips were shining by the "transmitted" sunlight. I like photos of flowers and colored leaves with "transmitted" sunlight.

In my photo in post #123, you would also please note that the nature/characteristic of "bokeh" in green portion is so nice and beautiful thanks to the lenses Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM + Extender EF 1.4X III.

As for the photos with "transmitted" sunlight, I highly recommend you to try the same, like this one below.

In my photo, the sun was higher overhead, the light was bright yet slightly diffused by light cloud cover, and the blossoms were backlit. Much earlier or later in the day, the blossoms aren't fully opened, and the colors don't "pop" as well.

Understood well!

Yes, I do WB and/or a little bit bit of brightness as well as color (colorfulness) tuning during the raw to jpeg processing with DPP4. I like carefully avoiding any pixel of white-out or black-out, especially avoiding white-out pixels. "Saturation of each of red, blue and green" should be also carefully avoided.

I prefer, however, having such brightness and color managements as little as possible for full utilization of the nature/characteristics of lenses and cameras.
