What lenses are you currently using?

I have a bunch of AF-S lenses and one AF-P 70-300. Also I have a Tamron 100-400. These go on a D850 mostly and a D800 occasionally. I have no plans to buy a Z mount body at this time although I think the Z8 is awesome. Until recently I used a 24-120 f/4 zoom most of the time but found even when stopped down it was weak in the 60 to 100mm range. Most recently I have switched to using 20mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm primes. All are f/1.8 except for the 50mm which is f/1.4. I also use the AF-P 70-300 frequently. Most recently got myself a FUJINON XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR. I haven't taken a lot of pictures yet, but so far looks very good.

Versus my two other "prime zoom" Fujinon lenses, viz. XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS and XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, it is decidedly larger & heavier. The filter size is a large 72 mm and the lens shade is correspondingly huge in diameter.

The advantage vs. the 18-55mm is that the 16-80mm is a just a little, but usefully, wider at the low end and significantly longer at the high end -- 24-122 mm vs. 27-84 mm equivalent.

Versus the 15-45mm the new lens has a much longer zoom. Also the 16-80mm is moisture-sealed and has an F-stop scale for manual select which the XC lens does not. And as for the XC15-45mm I absolutely hate the unavoidable power zoom feature.
