Hard to believe this was once aspirational. The Toronado an it's sibling the Eldorado had a bad reputation. If the final drive went out it cost $1,000 to repair in 1977. Used Toronado's cost very little.

Everyone remember, this thread is for entertainment only. Some of these cars are seriously ugly.

Several of my neighbors have 911's. I have ridden in them a few times. The rear engine is very noisy, the ride is roller skates (and I drive a Camaro SS with a sport suspension). The worst part for me is trying to get out of the thing. It's really low to the ground and I have long legs. My next ride will be some apocalyptical beast like a 4Runner or a Bronco.

Love that music...

DCT? I gave up a couple tenths for the fun of the (foot operated) clutch.

Looks like a fun car. Yours?
mine is a new civic coupe. 6MT. I love the car but I'd give anything for a new BMW M3. (can't afford it), or mustang Shelby GT 500, or vette, or.................

There's a rich people neighborhood about a mile from my house I ride my bike thru there in the summer there's one house where the guy owns a new red Ferrari he leaves it in his driveway in the daytime so everyone can see it I guess but you should see this thing. It may be the most beautiful car I ever saw. Not sure what model it is but I don't know how the guy could take it anywhere and park it or anything I'd be afraid to let it out of my sight.
Also you should see the trophy wives in this neighborhood. That's why I ride thru there.

I snapped this in Aspen, Colorado a few months ago. It has front wheel drive like the Morgan, but the drive line is more automotive than motorcycle. I wonder if the FWD layout works better than the single driven rear wheel of the Polaris.

Aside from torque steer, it's likely better.

You can't drive your house, but you can live in your car...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_93 - SAAB stands for Svenska Aeroplan Aktie Bolag! It had a 3cyl 2-stroke engine

xsaab-93-two-stroke-02-7b33e36a.jpg.pagespeed.ic.motXX-BGBZ.jpg

Successor 96 was very popular in Scandinavia in 70s and won many rallys, engine V4 from Ford

Large sedan 99 was really good and popular too, but lost the battle to Volvo 142/242. Engine 4cyl own design, famous with turbo.

then Combi Coupe was created (my father had this 5-d version)

evolution version 900 cabriolet was great succest and a cult car

SAAB 9000 was just OK, last one before car department was sold to Opel/GM
