Hi,

Recently purchased this HP amp. I have opportunity to switch it on and off using a Furman power conditioning module. This would mean leaving the L30 in its "on" position (HPA) and powering it with a separate lighted switch. Good idea, bad idea?

I only ask because the Topping "on/off" indicator is faintly visible from my desk setup and I've accidentally left it on overnight a couple of times.

Thanks for your input

I don't like to take chances so I turn off the components individually starting with amps before turning off any surge protector / battery backup power supply, etc.

Good advice thanks... yeah I tried the scenario last night and this morning when I powered up the L30 from the Furman, I heard a "pop" coming from my HD560's. No damage but I think I'll pass on this idea.

Maybe a "post it" note will suffice? :D
