Topping D30 to Eversolo DAC-Z6 - Is it an upgrade worth ?

Hi All,

I'm thinking about upgrading from my Topping D30 to an Eversolo DAC-Z6. Will this make a noticeable difference in sound quality? Just curious about your thoughts on this.

I had the same thought, but unfortunately, there aren’t any local stores where I can audition it, or they don’t offer it. My only option is to order it online and hope it lives up to my expectations.

If you're looking for improvements in sound, best to focus on speakers, the room, measuring and applying EQ if required.

You've been reading the other Dac upgrade thread - all the reasons are there.

However, the ever-solo does offer some nice feature improvements - display, balanced outputs etc. So if those are of interest, it is not overpriced bearing them in mind.
