Setup Confusion. Is there another solution?

I find I can stream anything/everything through my pc - dont have a need for a separate streamer box. Even my android TV can stream everything.

Does the RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE do all you were requiring of the other RME and miniDSP : preamp/selector with loudness and tone, sub crossover and DSP? Then if you use Wiim Pro instead of mini you will be able to use the RME to select without an extra optical switch box.

i think the RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE does not provide an appropriate x-over functionality (sufficient steep filters like LR 4th order). It also does not provide time delay functionality. The newer Firefaces provide all that, as RME developed the feature "Room EQ" (9 x PEQ per output channel + delay on top of the usual settings)

That is too bad. What I would do is just use the miniDSP SHD and Roon to do everything. No need for the WiiM. Do the loudness and tone with EQ in Roon. Probably that was already suggested, sorry if so.
