Review and Measurements of GUSTARD-DACA22 - 4499 First Show at ASR

both are up

Yes, I just realised after your other post, sorry.
It's either a misprint, misplacement of internal part or else.
If so and if it's new, why don't you send it back ?
It's clearly an issue.

I wouldn't risk it.

@WolfX-700 :
Hi,
Thanks for the measurements of the pre-production unit.
I have seen that, according to the specs of this DAC, the output of XLR was 6.0 Vrms, whereas you measured it with an output of less than 4.0 V. How do you think this could impact the THD+N of this DAC ? Would you expect it to increase significantly, as the SMSL M400 does when adjusted from 4.0 to 5.35 Vrms ?
Would you have any sample to make new measurements under 6.0 V ?

Anyone get a hands-on experience of this model? I want to find a good dual dac or passable nulti-tone single 4499 AKM desktop dac before they are gone forever.

Was the production model passable?

Gustard A22 mqa now with xmos 216
gives cleaner sound, the noise floor is below -150 db on usb
I tried several dac and usb dcc, but this dac gustard a22.
gives cleaner sound on usb.

Does this dac support dac (that is fixed voltage output)? Or is it running in preamp mode all the time? Thanks
