The section that will test your system starts at 4'50, but the bit before that is pretty good too...
(can't vouch for Youtube SQ though)

loved that part, but how is it a test if you don't have a reference?
it sounds x-time smore "saw" on my PA speakers compared to my TV speakers, but without the reference I wouldn't know

lol. it's compressed. high DR because of quiet passage...

lol ... yep ... thats how +dr works.

look closely, only the final segment is limited/compressed. it wasnt totally brickkwalled=no dynamic range.

A few electronic things I like to test very loud, or just to annoy people:

Most things Yello, from say Domingo on Stella to latest albums.
Ras Command - serious smokers.
Earthjuice (compilation album)
Dr Trippy
Kraftwerk

And more...?

What was that long string of numbers ending as a .jpg?
It's not a link or anything else?

it means that the post had a linked picture that was since taken from the server it was hosted on.

it was a waveform which was visibly crushed af but had a high DR because of quiet passages

A question for you guys. Do you stream a lot of your music from YouTube, or is this just an easy way to share it? My experience is that audio and video quality from YouTube isn't the greatest.

I just tracked down several of the Infected Mushroom tracks and this N'to piece on Qobuz and Tidal and several were pretty interesting. I particularly liked La Clé Des Champs.

Spotify user here.

I don’t generally hear much difference between the two. Sharing through YouTube ensures everyone can enjoy the entire track should they wish to. Not so with Spotify links (though I sometimes do share those too here).
