How do I interpret the price quoted in the article?

Nevermind, another source confirms my initial interpretation.

"Laminar Streamer: 99000 EUR incl. VAT. Export price minus VAT of 21%, 81818 EUR (91181 USD)"

So anyone compared it to the Teac 503 networked model yet? Trying to decide between these two, and need to know if the sound quality difference justifies the extra $90,000. I know the extra money buys me much fewer features, options and playback formats. Thereby simplifying the sound. Probably worth it just for that. It would be nice if someone has heard both in the same system however.

Lots more info on the design here:

Here is the Teac NT503. Does DSD, and has bluetooth and Velvet sound. WOO.........V-E-L-V-E-T sound.

The Teac is an award winning design. Doesn't appear the LessLoss has won anything yet. Still, probably worth the extra 90 large.

Then again maybe I could get the LessLoss Skin filtering firewall for USB and combine it with the Teac. Probably almost as good don't you think? Skin filtering has won an award already.

You had me going for a moment Keith. I thought this would be the next streamer for me to test at price of $99. The "mono and stereo" tag had me wondering though and a click on the link revealed the horror you subjected me! :D
