High enough that there is no stutter or interruptions in the sound.
Beyond that, it doesn't matter.

You can choose a super high value if you're only listening to music and don't need low latency for movie, games, or DAW work.

Wasapi Exclusive is my audio API of choice.
Same bit-perfect transmission as ASIO, and usually more stable.
