Hi everyone,
I know a variety of guides exist for each one of these steps but I just wanted to make sure that I’m thinking through the steps necessary in the correct sequence in order to get the best sound possible out of my new system!
Setup:
L R speakers are Revel Performa 3 MK105
2 SVS SB 1000 subwoofers playing summed mono signals
DSP - MINIDSP DDRC24
DAC - MOTU M4
Im assuming that in order to EQ the system I should do the following:
1. Take speaker measurements using REW without subwoofers and generate EQ measurements across the entire frequency
2. gain match each subwoofer to speakers
3. Generate crossover freq for each sub using REW
3. run Multi sub optimizer and export settings to channel 3 and 4 (sub 1 and 2 respectively)
4. Run a quick REW sweep w everything connected to make sure no funky results
5. Run DIRAC for final tuning
Is there anything I’m missing? Any advice is much appreciated!
Thank you
