Looks to be a passive two-way given the twin braided cables.Passive or is that a power cable underneath?

Looks like a regular fancy power cord to me... (What on earth a ferrite core would do to on a speaker cable, BTW ?)Looks to be a passive two-way given the twin braided cables
I'd say active considering the presence of a (silver?) E2X2 between both. The overall design suggests these would be marketed as "studio" monitors, cohesively...Passive or is that a power cable underneath?
Until the brand show significant improvements in quality control, I won't say that...Better still.
Are they that unreliable or is it simply because they sell a lot of units?Until the brand show significant improvements in quality control, I won't say that...
They sell a lot of their units to people who complain about broken units on audio forums... which could make the problem seem much worse than it is.Are they that unreliable or is it simply because they sell a lot of units?

Pretty interesting. Just based on the look the monitors look promising. With the depth of the cabinet, and what looks to be a pretty thick surround on the midwoofer, I'm expecting relatively impressive bass. Waveguide and rounded baffle, check. No obvious fails in the first photo anyway.
F10 around 45hz or so... not terrible, maybe I was greedy and hoping for more but certainly fine for the form factor. Still need a sub tho.
