New Topping products announced as of may 2024

How long til we see glowing reviews and then the thread is "hey, my speaker broke" over and over again??

TOPPING speaker, 4-inch, engineering opportunity to appear at the speaker exhibition starting tomorrow in China.
I will update the latest news as soon as possible.
SMSL introduced one long back, don’t remember if I even heard anyone buying!

I'm looking forward to the speakers as well, given the high performance DACs for the low price.

As it is 4 inches, it is a bookshelf speaker suitable for placing on the desk.

Are we talking a single driver or a whole loudspeaker? Either way, should be interesting. I wonder if it will stack up to Purifi's stuff, or just be a cheap alternative to SB or what.

I do not support the Chinese government, but purely in terms of reliability/build quality Tymphany are based in China they make some fabulous drivers, I had to return one of my ATCs because the cone was rubbing.

Purifi drivers are extremely expensive, even OEM, so it is very unlikely to happen (assuming this would be some entry-level or midrange offering... Or they won't sale any).

Of course, it's a whole loudspeaker, and there's also a speaker for musical instruments.

I agree and while if it is a passive loudspeaker the chance to fail under normal use is very low, still the lack of a serious long time support with parts etc would keep me away from such.
