I found the spec sheet on KEF's Discord by a member. Really appreicated.

It seems like a smaller (not too much) and cheaper version of R3 Meta with smaller Uni-Q driver of 0.75 inch tweeter and 4 inch mid driver (with MAT), and the same 6.5 inch woofer a little bit somewhat different from R3 from the pictures in the following replies (3-way design). The size is quite close but a little smaller, and 3 kg ligher than R3 Meta.

The presale has started in China and the further information will be revealed on September 28th. Pricing at 8980 CNY (for presale buyers, and a pair of stands included) and 9980 CNY (for buyers after the presale). Though it's approximately 1300 USD, the official price difference from China and the US is quite huge in terms of R3 Meta (22,800 CNY in China, which is around 3233 USD, but 2200 USD in the US). So, I think the price will not be that exorbitant in other regions.

The color comes with black, white, walnut (as usual, but no gorgeous indigo color:().

The presale buyers can also get a pair of stands of value of 2400 CNY and a canvas bag according to the marketing image below.

Hopefully these will be another great speakers :). Really looking forward to this.

Very nice, thank you so much for sharing.

While on paper it may be slightly smaller indeed, we probably shouldn't get carried away too much. Note for instance that the new speaker is one cm wider.

(The depth includes the terminals so both boxes are rendered a hair too deep. Happy to adjust if anyone knows the depth of just the R3 box.)

Interesting. Those sizes for the UniQ are the same as the LS60 and Ci250RRM-THX. I think a small sealed speaker with that driver would be a useful addition to to the line if it offered mounting points. A wall mount and ceiling mount speaker for surround use is something that's lacking in the KEF line. This isn't much smaller than the R3.

Indeed, their difference in size is not quite much. Hopefully this could will have little impact on the bass extension on Q Concerto.

I'd like to see KEF come up with a version of that, or of the R3 Meta, with two opposed and side-firing 135mm (5.25") or 165mm (6.5") woofers.
Cool. I guess the next generation of Reference and R series might have similar design with side-firing woofer or cardioid bass design like w371a/kii 3/d&d 8c? Since the technology is gradually passing to the Q series.

Personally, I´d say that Blade aside (which I absolutely love), the design from KEF I like the most is their old IQ series. However, a set to match the LS, with towers, center and height, would be quite nice to see too.

For these speakers, my guess looking at the name is that they´re an update of the Q, entry level, series.

... and active ;)
Active or passive, I think that Kef is blooming; they combine this 'meta system' with new- redesigned models that are very good. I recently bought the r3 meta, with a subwoofer this is sort of flawless-like, I have the feeling I never need or want something else/better. Would be expensive anyhow.

It seems they are a lovely replacement for the existing Q series, also interesting to see that the Concerto are 3-way vs the larger old Q models which were 2.5-way, hope the same holds true also for the Q11 and Q7 Meta.

Wow, the finish of cabinets looks better. The Q4 Meta seems to be side/rear speakers for surround system?

Side by side with the R3 Meta, based on the image in the opening post and attached info sheet.

Older KEF series used to make a "monitor" speaker between the bookshelf and the tower (iq3 for example). Perhaps this is a revival of the trend.

That said, I like that the metamaterial layer has tickled down to the entry level line. That may eventually take root in future iterations of the LSX, which uses a bit older UniQ due to price.

It looks like the O11 and Q7 have the same uni-q array as the Q Concerto; small and with a small surround; typical mid-drivers, so probably 3-way(?) Maybe mid-drivers being so small have the advantage of being lighter and stiffer and having a higher break-up frequency - more filtered by the crossover?

Also wider directivity, the mid and tweeter driver sizes of 100 mm and 19 mm respectively are the same as on the LS60.
