The OG-Topping remote indeed requires a lot more 'guidance'. As long as your unit is lower than the remote, it is actually really good for an IR remote. On par with the one of my Yamaha integrated...

Thanks for the info. That's good to hear, really disliked the accuracy required with the original remote(s). I might buy a 'luxury' one.
