Mid bass coupler

In the late 70's major speaker designers Arnie Nudell and the designer a B&O pointed out the importance of the mid bass coupler. PS audio has used a bass coupler in their speakers, but other designers ignore this principle, the results seems to be an impression of light weight speakers with vs chunky-er sounding speakers. Of course this a broad generalization, but this principal seems to be ignored in modern speakers.

A midbass coupler is a "way" in multiway speakers. So nothing unusual and far older than PSA suggests.

I use a JBL LE10A for a midbass coupler. or upper bass driver (100Hz to 1000Hz)

On a soon to be constructed center channel and surrounds I will use RCF 10" from Italy.
