There are lots of semi-pro equalizers that can do about the same thing. But with more bands and independent Left & Right band controls.

I had to give-up my graphic equalizer when I got my AVR/home theater system. The EQ is only 2-channels and there's no way to insert into the signal path (unless I wanted to use it only between the CD player, and the AVR or with one other stereo source).

I'm having a fantastic couple of days with my Violectic V200, Schiit Modi Multibit, HD650, and the new Nobsound EQ9. The sound is incredibly clean and quiet, and the usage has been immediate from the very first moment!

I’ve had one for a few months and it works fine. I will say when the Eq is engaged with all frequencies set flat there’s a boost in gain and a slight emphasis in the treble.
