I was once interested in the latter, for I am in search of a true multichannel universal (disc and computer file) digital player with analogue outputs.
Sadly, the objective assessments of both the most interesting Reavon model (the UBR-X200) and the most affordable Magnetar model (UDP800) by third parties are nothing to write home about, as can be seen here :

Clearly, the manufacturer needs to sort out the digital to analogue interfacing or the analogue circuitry of its products. As for now, these players are perhaps good contenders for video processing or as purely digital sound sources, but not as analogue sound sources. Performance is not in line with prices. And the performance is definitely not at the same level as that of Oppo players.
