Looking for Something Different Emotiva XPA 2 Gen 3 vs. Emotiva HC-1 Mono vs. Vintage Yamaha MX-1

Looking to try something new for a two channel amp. This is strictly for listening to music. What are everyone thought on this and what should I get? What would the sound quality be vs. one another?

Let me know your comments and your preference for what would sounds best?

MX-1 has gotten good reviews, but a 30 year old amp may seen better days and with newer technology like EMO, it may be a great setup.
