The only downside to having a few inches on top of the AVR, for those of us with cats, the receiver becomes a desirable resting place.

What kind of Denon do you have? Denon was always my dream brand of receiver but I could never afford one. I ended up buying an H/K because I knew of a Dr of mine who had that brand so I figured since Drs make alot of money that buying the same brand as him would be a good choice. Also do you know of any good music available on Spotify or online preferably that I could play on my phone hooked up to my receiver that even though it would be 2 channel would noticably utilize my back surround speakers more?
