JBL LSR305 (1st gen) quasi-anechoic measurements

I captured a quick measurement of my own first generation LSR 305 and the result matches that of @dominikz very closely. It appears to be waveguide cancellation.

BTW, do you plan to do a full spin of your JBL LSR305 at some point?
Would be very interesting to have another independent measurement to compare with - especially one with more midrange resolution (such as yours)!

That doesn't seem right indeed.

@pierre Do you know why the latest auto-EQ profile for LSR305 (1st gen) introduces excessive bass boost? Previously it didn't seem to do this. Thanks!

I have no idea why. I recomputed the EQ and got the expected answer. To be fair it was flagged in the QA process but I didn't
look at it properly.

Hello, so is the EQ from the @dominikz recommended or know? Which frequencies are effected by DPS switches on those jbls? Did someone played with those and can tell if changing or leaving something to neutral position of dps switches is better? I have those and I'm happy, the bass isn't that deep for my ears and separation of instruments is OK at best for mixing. Overall I really like them but I would like to improve something in them, can't afford to buy subwoofer for now since those are more expensive than the monitors itself.
