Interesting natural sounds that fascinate me are, thunder cracks, rolling thunder, rain, cicadas, wind, trees falling down naturally, insects.
Great reference sounds from nature.
How about you, what do you think?

Some recordings I posted. They were mostly katydids and cicadas rather than crickets.

Described the recordings in this post.

I can sit at night with my window open and listen to the curlews call out 150ft away on the mudflats, apart from their call it’s totally silent……apart from when the foxes are humping…..however they do it, it does not sound pleasurable in the slightest.

For the past 33 years I've resided 30 feet off a nice little trout stream with some rapids upstream about 80 yards and surrounded on 3 sides by 700 acres of nature preserve with everything residing in it N Michigan has to offer from eagles to frogs.

Ambient nature sounds is my world.

Unless of course some asshole is blasting through the woods in their side by side or other type of ATV/snowmobile with music blasting enjoying nature in their own special way.

Virgin snow and frosty leaves crunching under your feet.

I've found my e-moto to not disturb much beyond cats and some dogs.

My experimental sound friends recommend the sound of asparagus growing. It's clicks. There are also click-based indigenous languages. All kinds of things sound interesting in your digital audio workstation, speeded up or slowed down. It can be done with ultrasonic microphones or a low frequency microphone - https://store.lom.audio/products/geofon?variant=29549909442647.

Field soundies and sound designers are always on the hunt!

Bonfire, and it's not just sound but visually captivating and overall very soothing. Bonfires aren't natural, but still miles more natural than fingering mobile phone 24/7.

You have a dirt bike e-moto? Those are very cool. I saw 4 teens riding down a main street in my city doing wheelies on them through the intersection. :D
