HIFIMAN Edition XS paired with FiiO E10K-TC

Hi all,

I'm new to the audiophile community, so I was curious on whether or not I can pair the two from the title. The Edition XS for $260 looks like a steal but from reading previous forums it seems like I would need to pair it with a stronger amplitude DAC + AMP. I was originally pairing the E10K with a pair of DT 990 Pros at 250 ohms and it worked just fine. I'm curious if an upgrade is necessary to push the potential of these headphones or I would be gaining minimal return on my investment of a stack or DAC + AMP combo.

The Edition XS is a very sensitive/efficient headphone, so not sure where that opinion is coming from...
The E10K-TC will be more than enough.
