and sorry.. the most original is about mechanical impedance mesureament...

the book, box, is probably the most rich technicly ...(with the str-14 in a completely different genre..) , lots of things to learn there...

Sweep has low turnover frequency of 250hz acccpring to Google translate

Puffing EQ 250R-0 did not flatten it quite, here compared with Clearaudio TRS-1007

By accident I bought a mint Denon XG-7001 from Discogs. I did not realise it is the same as XL-7004 I have, well well.

I compared denonXL-7004 and XG-7001 which are the same record but two different issues..XL-7004 gave nicer high frequency matching, Crosstalk better than 30db on both.

Nice cart-arm low resonance test. Here AT33PTG/II ON SME v

there is another rather special version "hq-180gr"..it is the reissue of rti at the end of the 90s for the "japan audio society"

Yes I saw that one too, not sure I will spend money on that too, my XL-7004 to 7006 triple album and XG-7001 are both NEW IN BOX/Mint quality

Hi, welcome to ASR. Your question is a bit off topic (this, thread is about test LPs). I recommend you search to find threads discussing audio test files. Simply put, an audio test file is a file such as a WAV or FLAC file with test tones and sweeps instead of music.

What’s the best test record (frequency sweep) that is easy to purchase in the US? The CBS and Denon that are favored aren’t easy to source.
