Budget active speakers from Fiio, to complement the R7.
Not keen on the aesthetics, and I hope the LEDs can be turned off. Would like to see them tested though.

Would like to see measurements of SP3-actives here on ASR with or without companion R7.
Agree with others who don't care much for appearance of SP3's, and with the LED illumination on - looks like a kids toy.

Nice, on their site they show a schematic of the "active crossover" comprising TL074 opamps ;-) And they take the space it needs to show both (!) stereo channels, denoted 'L' and 'R'.

No, it's fully ok for the price and surely you can disable the leds.
Using them now in the bathroom, but only the interconnecting cable is a bit short and so I'm waiting for longer cable with a low capacity.
