Hi there, I found this offer on a Marantz Cinema40 but have never had any experience with this German retailer called SG-Akustik .
Has anyone here bought anything from them?
Price looks quite cheaper than the usual on other sites:

It is expressly declared as B-stock, hence the price. This is a long-established dealer with not always good reviews.

Project-Akustik is offering the device new for €1819.35. Sometimes you shouldn't save every last euro.

SG is well known and ordered from them a few (10+) years back.
But this is a used item. A new one will be ~200€ more.

why do you want the Marantz Cinema 40? Its basically a Denon AVC-X4800H with a different look.
Depending on what you are looking for, I would get a Onkyo TX-NR7100 at half the price

Yes that was another option I had in mind, what about the Denon AVC-3800H? At hidden-audio it is well below the usual 1000€

Doublepoint ,Amazon, Hifi KKlubben and others sell the AVC3800 for around €870,-
With the linked one you get 10% off if you buy it around the weekend.
