I have a Aune X1s GT and i like to put my DT 990 into the 4,4 mm jack. Does this makes any sense with a 4,4 to 3,5 adapter? Is it mabe bad for the DAC or the DT?

No. If the adapter is properly configured (4.4 T->3.5 T, 4.4 R2->3.5 R, 4.4 S->3.5 S), then you will get exactly the same output power as with the native 3.5mm jack.

If the adapter is improperly configured, then you can kill the Amp.

I thought so too. Thx, it makes no sense when the power is the same as on the 3,5 jack.
